Kurt had been avoiding Blaine for the entire weekend. He had his reasons; well really he had one big, glaring reason.

He had thought adding a bit of color to his hair would be fantastic. He had sat online Friday night researching and thought he could do it just fine by himself. It didn't look that difficult. He choose a shade just a bit lighter than his own and a kit for highlighting hair. Saturday morning he had set about getting all the color in and sat waiting around for his timer to go off.

Once he got out of the shower he looked in the mirror and shrieked. There were now streaks of bright red running through his hair. He was so stunned he sat down on the bathroom floor and thought about crying. This was not how this was supposed to go.

That leads him to now. Blaine has been calling and texting all weekend asking to come over. Kurt had been steadfastly coming up with reasons why that could not happen. However Blaine had been in town and had decided to stop over anyway and was now waiting in the living room talking to Kurt's Dad.

Kurt did not want Blaine to see him like, or really anyone. Hell he hadn't even let his Dad see, but he couldn't just turn Blaine away. Plus unless he found a way to fix his hair, the whole school would be seeing it come Monday. So he gave himself a mental slap and told himself that Blaine really could care less what his hair looked like and called him upstairs.

It really was comical the way Blaine stopped in the doorway and just stared. While Kurt stood there with his arms wrapped tightly around himself. Finally Kurt couldn't take the silence anymore and told Blaine it was fine to laugh at him, he was expecting it.

Blaine took five steps forward, took Kurt's arms and wrapped them around his body. He then whispered that he liked Kurt's new look but if Kurt didn't like why didn't they head over to a salon and get it fixed.

Kurt just stared at Blaine for a second. Then took a moment to wonder why he hadn't thought of that. After shaking off that thought he pulled Blaine into a tight hug and thanked him for coming to his rescue.
