The baseball flew threw the foggy air. It smacked against her hand. Auntie Alice and I were practicing for our next game. We were in the meadow, and it was a very nice day, the sun glowed through the trees, and highlighted the dew drops dotted on the grass. I heard a phono ring, a piano ringtone. Auntie Alice and I smiled, it was Daddy! I sprinted to the messenger bag, slide the phone out and answered. "Hi Daddy!" I greeted.
"Reneesmee." He said happily.
"Are you on your way home? Because Mommy said we were going to play a game-" I continued, but was stopped.
I saw black cloaks ascend from the forest. They glided fast but gracefully, and they were vampires as well. Jacob sat up from his nap on the ground. Auntie Alice's eyes widened in terror. "Reneesmee!" Daddy shouted throught the device. "Edward! The-" Aunt Alice cried.
The next thing I knew my Aunt was kneeling down in the grass, screaming bloody murder. I looked back at the figures, than at Jacob. He jumped up and transformed. "Jacob! Who are they?" I asked.
"Listen to me, you need to go with Jacob and tell Mommy what happened. Now!" Daddy commanded.
Auntie Alice continued crying out in pain. Jacob signaled me to get on his back. I ran to him, burying my face into his warm fur. Who were these people? Why were they doing this to my aunt? Jacob tore through the trees, the wind made my braid beat against my back. Within 1 minute Jacob and I were home, but it felt like forever until we arrived. I flew off Jacob and into the door way. "Nessie, what is wrong?" Grandma asked.
Words flew off my mouth too fast. Grandma grabbed me by my shoulders and told me to get my emergency bag, a few tears rolled down her cheeks. "Kids! The Volturi are back!" Grandma shouted loudly. I ran up stairs, grabbed my bag, and came back down. Everybody except Auntie Alice was there. I had a feeling this was not going to turn out okay.
