So, I've recently finished Allegiant, and this idea has been floating around for a while. It's a pairing I haven't seen before, so read at your own risk. Although, it's possible to just see them as friends if you want.

Obviously, this is after the epilogue.

Tobias: NorthernMage doesn't own Divergent.

It's strange.

There are no factions anymore. Evelyn isn't in charge along with the factionless either. I suppose everyone is factionless now, but I can tell that those barriers are still ever so slightly there.

For example, Johanna was Amity, and now she's the leader of the city. I haven't seen anything suggesting she's openly accepting of using force, apart from the whole Allegiant issue.

Caleb is alone now. Most people have families still, but not him. He and Cara are friends, and it seems they still both hunger for knowledge, although now it's to assist the city in the Department of Agriculture. After all, someone had to start figuring out how we were going to survive.

It's still easy to pick out ex-Candors. Personally, I think they'll be the last to settle in. Those living a life of pure honesty will definitely shake things up.

And then there's the old Abnegation members. Just like the Candor, it could be a while before their behaviour becomes less obvious. But two and a half years after the removal of the factions, I saw one buy some new clothes.

I'm pleased to say they weren't grey.

Finally, there's old Dauntless members. Recognisable, but they've slipped into the new system without too much trouble. There's a very good reason we have a low crime rate. With some old Dauntless members being part of the police, nobody even thinks about stealing.

Finally, the two people left: Tobias and Christina.

I'm thankful for Christina helping Tobias. For the first few weeks, I wasn't sure if he was ever going to speak again. When he nearly drank the memory serum, I was begging for him to stop. Christina managed to knock some sense into him, and today, he finally faced his fear of heights.

I was proud when he went in the sling. Face first, with the urn behind him. He was terrified, just like we've all been. But he did it, and that's all that matters.

Recovery is a long road, so when I see them holding hands, I know they've reached the end, and kept walking, together.

How could I be angry at what they've found? Could I really be so coldhearted to want the strength they've found destroyed?

Tobias and Christina. It sounds right.

They mend each other. And who am I, dead Beatrice Prior, to deny them something as simple as that?
