Disclaimer: If I owned it the ending would have been different, and the Yuri more blatant.
Notes: Not that good, not that long, but I think I kinda love it.
She was hurt, and in such a severe pain that she was actually having trouble thinking (and her damned heart couldn't stop so she could hear her own thoughts); she could feel the bile filling her mouth, and blood was escaping her body fast, too fast (maybe other people would already be dead but not her, never her… she was special).
There was something roaming on her brain, a stray thought that seemed to implode everything else and form a picture of something essential from the remains. A redheaded (although that wasn't right, could have been black) girl with deep blue eyes and a warm smile, a smile that give her purpose to live, a smile that was too important to lose. She couldn't remember the name; she needed to remember the name (it was vital so her blood would stop leaving).
The girl was red, red was an important color to her, and her name started with M. Mei… Sei, that last one was familiar but not as important as the red girl's name. Meg, she needed to live so she could save Meg (something told her that if she wanted to, Meg could save herself).
She had left Meg behind, and gave her the jacket (she was cold now, so cold). She had run away from somewhere, not from Meg (never from Meg), from the place where she got hurt, she needed to find Meg again.
She stood up with difficulty; she was healing now, the bile going back where it belonged, the wounds closing, the pain fading. She didn't know where to start, but she remembered Meg and was going to find her no matter how long it took, Meg was too important to loose. She started walking, something at the back of her brain told her that her name was Jo.
End
Notes: The thing about Meg's hair, I remember that in the episode where she meets Jo for the first time her hair is black… was trying to show my knowledge of the series.
Omake
There was something roaming on her brain, a stray thought that seemed to implode everything else and form a picture of something essential from the remains. A shining grey metal mecha that could be in trouble… she needed to save Jango before Meg painted him red or some other hideous color!
