Then before my very eyes my master began to change and I mean really change… oh! I'm sorry I think I'm getting ahead of myself. My name is Chronus, I'm a ferret, yeah that's right your talking to a ferret. Anyways my master's name is Overn. Let me begin at the beginning of the story.

It all started in caroy city, a bustling metropolis. When Overn bought me he was 14. I was a newborn baby and happy to be taken in so early. He had always treated me well, now 3 years have passed and still going strong. But lately my master has seemed like he is angry. I don't think I did anything wrong.

Then the day came when my master came to me and said,"Chronus, my old friend I'm sorry but I think this is the end, you see the police are after me and if I'm caught I don't want you to get hurt." At that point I did not know what to do for I did not understand so I just squeaked. "That's right old friend you're going to be ok."

I know that this is going really fast but this is exactly how it happened. Three days later while my master was watching TV. And a knock came at the door. My master looked to see who it was, the Caroy city police. "This is the police." They said when my master opened the door. "You're hover has a broken light, so you might want to fix that soon."

"Thank you officers" my master said as they walked away "ill be sure to take care of that."

"Have a nice day sir." The police officer said. As he turned to walk away he said "haven't I seen you before?"

"No I don't believe I have had the pleasure" my master said with a worried look on his face. The officer then left and my master sighed a sigh of relief. I tried to say how confused I was but as usual only a series of squeaks came out. "Listen chronus, I know you must be confused so I will explain. You see the D.D. believes I am taking part in a conspiracy against him. He was the one who killed my family and I swear I will kill him." It was all clear to me now. I saw the tears gather in my master's eyes and I nuzzled against his neck. "thank you I knew you would understand."
