A/N: A few things you need to know before you read this. Instead of Iridium HIGH its Iridium Prepatory Academy because all the kids are rich except one. Instead of Jax living with his dad he lives with his mom and his home is in Miami currently. And Emma is starting at Iridium.
Emma Alonso smoothed her blue skirt. She looked herself in her full length mirror admiring the uniform she got a few days ago.
She was going to Iridium Prepatory Academy, the fanciest school in Florida.
Before she was homeschooled and lived in a pretty decent home.
Till she begged to go here, till she got bratty and greedy.
She passed the school in August when she was walking and passed a table with ladies handing out flyers to join the school.
Emma asked about it and got a tour.
It was her dream school.
She begged her dad for nonstop.
He kept saying the same two words "Too expensive!"
Till he finally gave up.
After he paid for the school they lost a vast amount of money.
They had to move out of their beautiful home and into a cottage out in a field.
They didn't have much money left.
Her dad had to juggle 3 jobs to support their small family.
Emma could've gotten a job but she needed to do work at home too.
It didn't help when soon her dad fallen ill when they first day of school started.
She adjusted the blue bow attached to her high ponytail.
She tried smiling but it just didn't help the poor condition they are in.
Emma looked at the the small table which was really a cardboard box.
On top of it was McDonalds food.
Right now it was the only food they can get.
There was no time to cook.
Less money was given to them due to the days Mr Alonso called in sick.
Emma grabbed her floral flap backpack and left ready to face Iridium.
