Fun With Microwaves

Akari snickered as she gazed at the door of the microwave oven, the popcorn inside popping continuously. Her short crimson hair was tied back into a low ponytail, a little less spikier than her father's. Acid green eyes followed the slowly rotating package of yummy goodness which was by now plump with the buttery substance.
And then fire.
The five year old threw her arms into the air and cheered, a wide grin across her face. "YAY!"
Axel stepped into the kitchen with a faint smile on his face. "Hey sweetheart, what're you doing-" He gave a yelp as he yanked his daughter away from the fiery microwave, the contents inside scorched. He couldn't help but let his eyes linger on the fire.
"Ugh, guys, what's that smell- DAMMIT!" Roxas shouted as he walked in, making the two redheads recoiled in fear and scamper into the living room. Once in the living room, Axel began to cover two year old Hikaru's tiny ears, the blonde boy laughing and responding by covering his emerald eyes with chubby fingers. The oldest redhead heard a pot being slammed onto the counter and then filled with water from the sink, a huge splash followed shortly after and then a string of curses was shouted. Akari only clung to her father's leg while covering her own ears from the bad words.
And this was a normal day in the Hunt household.
