Hey guys, this is my first WWD fanfic. Well this is because I like WWD a lot, so enjoy!
In the thicket of a Jurassic conifer forest, everything is silent. Well, not so silent as always. In the air, there are loud digging noises.
A ten-tonne Diplodocus is laying her eggs at the foot of the forest. She dug a hole one after another, and carefully laid them in the holes. Then she abandons them to their own fate, and joins the rest of her herd, which is migrating on to look for food. She takes one last look at the conifer forest, and leaves.
Two weeks have passed since the Diplodocus laid her eggs, and now, it is time for them to hatch.
A male Diplodocus emerges out of his hidden hole, as well as many of his brothers and sisters. However, not all of them hatched. A distance away, an Ornitholestes is eating an unhatched Diplodocus. Upon seeing the fate of his brother, the Diplodocus calls off to his siblings and they wander off to the fern bush for safety. But the Ornitholestes takes no notice of them and continues with his meal.
Away being exhausted from running away from the Ornitholestes, the Diplodocus and his siblings decide to have their first meal–ferns, and take a rest.
We will call this Diplodocus hatchling Dip from then on, because his skin is as damp as a swampland.
