Journey To The Stars

A poem from Rosalina's point of view following the story of how she discarted her humanity to be with the Lumas. It's a dark and fantastic way to describe the end of one life and the beginning of a new one. Well, that's basically the reason why the poem is classified as kplus.

Author's note: This poem is somewhat telling the story of how Rosalina became what she is on Super Mario Galaxy, leaving behind her humanity. This work is really old, but today I managed to edit and publish it.

Journey To The Stars

In my eyes shards of tears

Falling softly down my cheeks

Like tender drops of dew

..

I barely feel their cold

But soon they seem to crystalize

Finally falling in my hands

To break into millions of pieces

..

My hands seem to be stained

Filled with lots of crimson petals

Slowly i feel them grow so numb

Like falling into a deep slumber

..

As I feel myself drift into darkness

The stars seem to come down to me

Softly their whispers reach my ears

..

Come with us, come home

..

As they reach me we start to ascend

As we float to the sky, I look back

The world around seems to shrink

And the sky above seems to be limitless

..

My tears have been dried

My hands have been cleansed

And my soul, it feels so whole again

..

It seems my journey will soon start anew

..

I leave my world forever

Even if i know it won't miss me

I will promise to remember it

For i know it's memories will stay with me

..

I finally close my eyes

And holding me close, the stars guide me

Together we'll fly away to eternity
