"Eduard, come play with me," the young Romanian girl said to the smartest of the three Baltic countries. He looked up from what he was doing to see the Romania smile at him.

"Not right now Lia." The girl frowned.

"But you promised," she said with pleading eyes. For someone who was only two years younger than he was, she acted childish sometimes, but that's what he liked about her; she made things seemed so carefree that way. Estonia smiled.

"Okay, but I get to choose the game this time." Lia grinned excitedly.

"Okay, fine," she said happy that she would be spending time with him, "so which are you going to choose? Chess? trivia pursuit?"

"Scrabble," Eduard answered placing the board on the table in front of her. Lia sighed; she was terrible at coming up with words.

"18, 19, plus the triple letter score make that's 25 points," Eduard announced triumphantly. Lia stared at the board amazed.

"How does he always do that, " she thought,"I'm 40 points behind." She groaned. "He'll think I'm dumb and never want to go out with me." She stared at her letters: S K M S blank B E. She had no idea what to do with them until she saw the' I' from 'invalid' by itself. "K-I-S-S," she thought. Then she realized she could expand on that.

"Are you having trouble coming up with a word again? Do you want help?" Eduard asked.

"No. I got one," Lia chirped. "Lets hope he gets the message," she thought placing the lettered tiles on the board. "K-I-S-S-space-M-E," she stated. Then, looking at Eduard with longing eyes, said, "Kiss me." The Estonian, not knowing what to do, just stood there. "Kiss me, Eduard," Romania said encouraging him to make a move.

He leaned forward and placed him lips on hers. He was gentle, keeping the kiss chaste and innocent until he pulled back to put letter on the scrabble board. When Lia saw what he was spelling, she smiled and him in for another kiss.

"I Love You" read the board.
