AN: I said on my tumblr (becketts-bitchface) that I want to write a fic about Beckett and Castle naming their child Johnny, not realizing there's a porn star named Johnny Castle when the guy started popping up on the Castle tag. I was told by a few people to write it so... here it is
Kate laid in a hospital bed next to Rick, smiling as their friends and family passed their newborn son around, all taking turns holding him.
"He looks like you, man," Esposito said, looking at Castle as he handed the baby to Jenny.
"Yeah, he does," Ryan agreed, looking over his wife's shoulder as he held their sleeping two-year-old daughter. "Poor kid."
"You never told us his name," Martha said. "Did you guys manage to agree on one yet?"
Kate and Rick smiled at each other, they'd gone back and forth with baby names for the better part of six months. "Jonathan," Kate said.
"Johnny," he corrected.
Esposito snorted a laugh while Lanie's lips formed a thin line. Esposito glanced at Ryan, who seemed to find the name just as amusing as he did.
"Did I miss something?" Rick asked.
"You don't know?"
"Know what?"
"Johnny Castle is… an actor," Ryan said. "Kind of."
"Never heard of him," Rick said with a shrug.
"Kind of?" Kate said. "What the hell does that mean?"
"He… he makes films that are um… more mature than… uh…" he stammered. "Javi, help me out."
"No way, bro. I'm having fun watching you try to tell her."
"Will someone just tell me what's going on? Who is Johnny Castle?"
Lanie pulled out her phone and pulled google up on her browser. "There's kids in the room so I'm not gonna play the video but um…" She handed the phone to Kate, stepping quickly back.
Kate blinked, staring at the tiny screen. "Oh my God," she finally said.
Rick looked over her shoulder and laughed. "It's porn." His wife smacked him in the head. "What? At least we know he has a future. With the Castle genes, he'll be good at it."
"Dad, gross," Alexis said.
"This isn't funny! Our baby is named after a porn star," Kate cried, handing the phone back to Lanie.
Rick looked up at their friends, his eyes narrowing. "Wait, how did you guys know he's a porn star and I didn't?"
"He's mostly man on man," Lanie said, looking pointedly at Ryan and Esposito.
"I… I'm…" Ryan stammered as Jenny turned to look at him.
"Haven't y'all ever heard of google?" Esposito demanded. Lanie laughed. "What? He doesn't do all gay stuff he's with girls sometimes. Hot girls!"
Kate looked up at Rick as their friends bickered. "Is it too late to change his name?"
