Okay, people, I have done the impossible *drumroll, please* - written a sequel to a songfic! Yay! Thanks to Ash, Kitty, and MerlayneQ for reviewing the other one.

You have to listen

And listen closely

'Cause I've got something' to say

I really don't like it but…

I can't stop the raging storm

I can't quench the roaring sea

I can't quiet the growling lion

And you can't stop me

From loving you

The way I do

The way I always shall

The way I want to let it all go

And let the secret come tumbling out

You can't stop love

The next morning Kel was studying for the maths test very quickly when a too-cheerful Neal burst in, brown hair tousled and arms full of flowers.

"Hey, Mindy," he greeted her happily.

"For the last time my name is not Mindy!" Kel snapped.

"I know."

"Then don't call me Mindy!"

"Why not?"

"You're hopeless."

"Of course I am. If I suddenly changed and wasn't hopeless, then you'd say, 'Neal, you're too damn good!' and smack me over the head with a frying pan."

"Where'd the frying pan come from?"

Neal ignored her.

"So, look, do you think this girl I have a crush on will like these?"

Kel's stomach knotted suddenly and she couldn't breathe.

"Yes, Neal, I'm sure she will," she said, turning back to her book.

"'Cause, I mean, she's really pretty and nice and considerate and I really want her to like them," Neal continued anxiously.

"Neal, she'll like them."

"But, see, I really, really, really, really want her to like them and—"

"Neal, for the last time, she'll like them! Who is it, anyway?"

Neal grinned.

"See that's the thing."

"What's the thing? Who is she?"

"You."

I shall always love you

Through trials so true

And I want to tell you so badly,

But I don't know what to do,

So if you'd spare me the pain

Of telling you I love you

I'd be so ever grateful

'Cause then I'd know what to do

I'd take you in my arms

And say that it's all right

And we'll be together forever,

We'll try with all our might

To make it work

So just save me the pain

Of breaking the news

Tears like silver rain

Don't have to come

If you spare me the pain

Of breaking the news

Then I shall stay in your arms

I shall be true

"What?" Kel shrieked.

"Oh dear. I thought this might happen. Now, Mindy, sit down—"

"Neal, you thick-witted numbskull, get it through your head that my name is not Mindy!"

"Sorry. You spoiled the moment."

"What moment? I didn't know there ever was one."

"There was too."

"What was it, then?"

"Actually, it hasn't happened yet. But it's about to."

"What's about to?" yelled Kel, but by that time Neal was already kissing her.

I can't stop the raging storm

I can't quench the roaring sea

I can't quiet the growling lion

And you can't stop me

From loving you

The way I do

The way I always shall

The way I want to let it all go

And let the secret come tumbling out

You can't stop love

No matter how hard you try,

It's perfectly impossible

Unless you want to cry

Every night

You can't stop love.
