I sat in my tree at twilight in the woods. I looked at the city with all it's blinking lights. From this distance, it looked almost peaceful. I laughed at this. Peaceful? As if. The reason I lived up here, with only one of my sisters, was because of the people in that city. They couldn't accept my nor my sister's powers. Our raven black wings and my power over nature and her power over air. They all think it's black magic. Even our own sisters couldn't accept us. They had pure, snow white wings and "Silver magic". We were forced to live alone in the woods.

I was dwelling in my thoughts when my sister, Robin, came up and told me, "We have trouble. Our counterparts are close to here. I think they're searching for us, and it seems whatever we can do, they can do too." My face grew serious and I flew up into the sky. Apparently they had the same idea. Robin and I did our best, but they overpowered us. I the end, we had to flee. We had almost lost them when Robin fell. I just couldn't take it anymore. I dropped too. I closed my eyes and waited for Death to claim me, but instead I felt a pair of strong arms catch me. I opened my eyes to see Butch staring back at me. I struggled to get out of his arms, but he had a strong grip. I saw Mitch doing the same to Robin. I was exhausted, so I closed my heavy lids and drifted off.

When I awoke, I was back in the forest with Robin, Butch, and Mitch looking at me with concern. I upped and ran. I ran from everything. My memories, my feelings, and my past. I was done with all that. I knew there was a cliff nearby, so I went in that direction. I was just about to jump when he was there again. He hugged me close to him, and I cried into his shirt. All my resistance was gone. All the tears that I didn't shed were coming out right now.

When everything was done, I looked up and said, "Thank you Butch." He smiled down at me and said, "You never needed to leave you know. Everyone misses you." "I replied, "I'll try again, if Robin lets me." "He smiled once again and whispered, "She's all ready to go. Let's go, Buttercup."
