Team Killerbee had just become a team 2 weeks ago and Karui was not happy with her team. She had a wild rapping teacher, a know it all brother, and stoic girl team mate. The biggest problem however was with her brother. He frustrated her to no end and he knew it. He had always been smart and an excellent ninja and she had always had to deal with his bullying in the ninja academy of the cloud. However, she thought that graduating would get her away from his bullying. He constantly insulted her. Except he wasn't the loud type. He would do it with a straight face; no smile, no laugh, nothing else. Them when she insulted him back he would remain unfazed and uncaring. How was she supposed to deal with them.

She had graduated from the academy with high grades. Both Omoi and Samui had as well, however their chunin instructor from the academy had told them that they had evened out the teams with one genius, one average person, and one person with low grades. Why did she have to be on her brother's team.

Another thing that frustrated her was that Killerbee-sensei had quickly taken a liking to Omoi because he was the quickest thinker on their team and the best strategist. His Taijutsu was also pretty good and he even was good at lightning style techniques. Combining that with his great swordsmanship he was a dangerous opponent. Killerbee also liked to fight using Taijutsu, swords and lightning release techniques. They shared a bond that Samui and Karui could not even fathom. They even dressed in a similar way.

Earlier on in the academy Samui and Karui were friends. But later on a gap grew between the two. Before she would tell Omoi to leave her alone and to stop bullying her. But now her face and his both remained in a straight line; Unmoving, not quivering, and unfeeling.

FLASHBACK

Earlier on that day Team Cloud were meeting at Unraikyo, the valley of clouds and lightning. Killerbee, Samui, and Omoi were already their. She had just arrived and was out of breath running up the large stair case that lead to Unraikyo.

"Late as usual Karui," Omoi said in his expressionless voice.

"Leave me alone," she replied. She would have said more but she was tired and did not want to fight. She clenched her chest exhausted from the run.

"Why are you touching their. If you wanted to know if they were growing you could have just asked me. And they aren't." he said.

"Stop bothering me." she said.

"Don't get angry at me just because your flat chested." he replied.

Killerbee spoke up, " all right Team Killerbee. Today we will be heading to the Raikage residence. He said he had a C rank mission for us to do."

Karui was angry at hearing this and yelled. " Then what was the point of coming to Unraikyo."

"You could use the exercise any way." said Omoi

After their mission, when Killerbee and Omoi had left Samui had given her a note.

"Don't open this until you get home." she said.

Karui searched her face to find any expression that might tell her what may have been in it but was sad to find her as stoic, calm, and unfeeling as ever.

"Fine," Karui said.

END FLASHBACK

She was now walking into her house. The lights were off and she heard no sound so she knew that Omoi wasn't there.

She unfolded the letter that Samui had given her and began to read it.

With this she smiled and lied down on her bed. And with that she fell asleep.
