Your fear is dromophobia: fear of crossing streets and your character is Percy Weasley. Good luck!

That's what I have to work with. Oh, God. Haha.

Percy Weasley seemed to have everything: a good job, a beautiful wife, and three amazing children. Fred was fourteen, Molly was twelve, and Percy Jr. was eleven. Percy only had one problem: he couldn't cross the street. He got shaky and pale anytime he tried.

When Fred lost his ball when it went across the street, Audrey had to go get it for him. Percy felt like a failure every time something happened and he had to have someone else do it for him. He tried to explain his fear to Audrey, but she just laughed and said he was being silly.

But he wasn't being silly; he had a reason to be afraid. When he was about four, he had almost been hit by a Muggle car when he had been crossing the road near his house to pick strawberries. Since then, he had been unable to cross the road.

Percy was called up to his superior, Seacrest's, office. When he sat down, Seacrest said, "We have received information that you are afraid to cross the street. You will have to conquer our fear, or lose your job. You have a week. Good day."

Percy told Audrey as soon as he got home. Audrey laughed and said,"It's not a big deal. Just cross the street. I'll go with you."

Percy and Audrey walked outside, and walked to the street. Audrey grasped Percy's hand, and started to walk. A Muggle car whisked around, and Percy screamed and jumped back in fright.

"There's nothing to be afraid of, dear. Don't you trust me," Audrey asked sweetly.

"O-of cour-course I trust y-you. I'm just being silly, dear." Percy took a deep breath, and walked across the road.

He was so busy focusing on breathing that he didn't hear the car. Audrey yelled, "Run," but it was too late. Percy was hit by the pickup truck and died instantly.

To this day, no one knows if Audrey planned for the truck to pass or not. All anyone knows is she received a handsome sum of money from Percy's life insurance policy.

Dark, I know. It wasn't what I wanted…but I hate Percy. Even before the whole traitor thing. Sorry.
