The Doctor had left her on the ship, far into her future. For a blonde mistress to the king no less! Rose Tyler snarled mentally. "How dare he!" She sobbed, sinking to the ground beside the console of his beloved ship. "I promised him forever! How dare he do this to me!" Rose cried long and hard for the first time in a while. She couldn't take it. Rose loved the adorable Time Lord, not that he was aware. And he left her like trash, stranded on the TARDIS that she had no idea how to pilot. She was exhausted from worrying about him for the past five hours, but still had enough energy to bawl pityingly into the side of the console. All of a sudden, she heard someone yelling in the distance. They were calling her name. Was it the Doctor? In her haste to run out the doors, she tripped and began to fall.

And that's when Rose woke up, to the Doctor gently shaking her and calling her name. "Rose, love, wake up please. It's just a nightmare. Please wake up." He whispered softly into her ear. He was alive and next to her! "Oh Doctor! I had the same nightmare again." She cried, hugging him desperately. "Rose, you know I'd never leave you, right? I couldn't live with myself if you were taken away from me. I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry for leaving you like that! I love you Rose. More than you could ever fathom." The Doctor declared passionately. He loves me. He loves me! Rose thought. "I love you too Doctor." She could feel that he was smiling as he pressed a kiss to her temple. "Goodnight, love." And with that, Rose fell back asleep with the Doctor holding her in the darkness of her room.

And honestly? There was no place she'd rather be.
