Hey, this is my second fanfic. Comments, reviews or constructive criticism would be appreciated, Thanks JThis is continuing from part one so if you haven't read it, it might not make sense.
"Charles Buford Fairchild! - If you don't give me back my stele right now, I will make your stay here the most uncomfortable, the most horrible-"
"Okay, Okay!" he said chuckling. The person behind her, presumably Matt, let her go as Charles passed her her beloved stele.
Without giving them another look, Gabrielle runes the door and headed down the stairs. Cerise was half way down and Gabrielle hurried to catch up. Cerise Rodeña had been her parabatai for three years. They had met in Idris and had become friends instantly. They had taken the oath within a month and Cerise moved to the Saint James' Institute to stay with Gabrielle.
Together, they continued down until they reached the Den. Sofas were dotted around the room with a haphazard assortment of books, weapons, rune guides, board games and gear. She took in the beautiful sight of all her friends relaxing. She could see pretty much everyone: Lucie, Anna, Christopher, Alexander, Barbara, Eugenia, Thomas, Cordelia, Allistair and Cerise. There were 15 of them in total including her and her cousins. Hang on…15…so where was…Gabrielle glances up just in time to see James somersaulting down from the beams that ran across the ceiling. He landed with a thump in the middle of the room.
"Don't James, you'll ruin the carpet," said Cordelia absentmindedly as she continued to proof read another of Lucie's novels.
"Lighten up Daisy J" he grinned.
"It's Cordelia to you!" She spared him a glare before hastily jotting something in the margin. It filled Gabrielle with joy to witness their good natured fighting. Just then, Thomas walked over.
"Hey Gabrielle!" he said, embracing her. Thomas was a close friend of her's. His sisters were often a little overprotective so he enjoyed spending time at her's for peace and quiet.
"Hello Thomas- Hello everyone!" There was an answering chorus of hello's from across the room.
"Is everyone here now?" asked Allistair softly. Everything about Allistair was soft and quiet- leading others to believe he was unintelligent. However he soon proved them wrong. His clear blue eyes took in everything and missed nothing. Looking around, it seemed like they were so they all gathered around to form a rough sort of circle. Lucie, her bracelets rattling, gestured to her brother James. "I believe James has some news…" Everyone waited in anticipation.
"Yeah"-he smirked, "Felix, Nora…come on out." Felix? Nora? Who were they? Where were they?
2 Invisibility runes flashed behind him and two people appear. Everyone looked stunned except James and Lucie.
"Everyone- meet Felix and Nora. My parabatai and his sister!"
