Ikuto's POV

The scene kept replaying in my mind,

'I'm sorry I just want something to change, I'm not sure how, but until I do, it's over.'

Yesterday is a day that I wish hadn't happened. It seemed like she was different, like she didn't want to end it but she did. I couldn't say anything to stop her, I was too shocked. I stared at the bright silver moon, I remembered how we walked along the beach and you said how beautiful the moon was. I told you the moon was no match for you.

I called a couple times but I couldn't say it. I loved you. I try to tell you but I get tongue tied. I need help to say it. I wish I could tell you, please take me back, I love you.

Amu's POV

I was out on my balcony, looking at the beautiful stars, they remind me of how you had that twinkle in your eyes when we were together. Where are you now? It feels like your miles and miles away. What I said, I didn't want to, but, I had to. I bet you wondered what did you do, or what you didn't do. But it wasn't that. I was told to tell you it was over. My parents forbid me to date you. Why didn't you try to get me to stay? Did you want me to leave?

I need some luck to get you back. Every time you called I wanted to ask you to be mine once again. But I couldn't, I wish Ran was still with me; of course she is and always will be with me, in my heart that is. I wish I could've Chara Changed and asked you. I just don't have the guts to.

Both of their POVs

It feels like the end. We've been down this road before; I don't want to be here again. I got up and raced to phone. I dialed their number, and heard the ring. There was a ring at the doorbell.

Amu's POV

Tadase? Why was he here?

"I heard about your break-up. I just want you to know I'll be here for you." he said and put a hand on my shoulder. I smiled and thanked him.

"Thank you Tadase-kun, but right now I am very busy so do you think you could back a different time?" I didn't want to tell him I was going to try to get Ikuto back, that would crush him! But then again, that's why they call them crushes; they can hurt. He nodded and walked out.

Ikuto's POV

I opened the door. Lulu? What is she doing here?

"I heard Amu broke-up with you, I'm here for you. Okay?" she said, putting her hand on my shoulder.

"Thanks Lulu, but I'm kind of… busy right now can you come back later?" I didn't want to hurt her feelings, I mean since I dated Amu, Lulu had hung out with us a few times, she's not so bad.

"Sure." She walked out the door.

I went back to the phone to try again.

Ring….Ring…

"Hello?" she answered! Now I have to tell her.

"Amu."

"I-Ikuto?" I smirked, she still stutters eh?

"Amu, I-" I was cut off,

"Ikuto! I- I want you back!"

"You do?" I couldn't believe it.

"Yes." she said quietly.

"I-I want you back too." Did I just stutter? I do not stutter!

"really?" I guess she couldn't believe it.

"Yes" I answered, I smiled. And a real smile, not a smirk!

There was a silence from her end. I sighed.

"Amu, will you go out with me?" I asked, she laughed.

"Of course, Ikuto." she answered.

"great, I'll see you Friday." I said.

Both POVs

I hung up and I said to myself,

"I don't care how, but we will make it this time, I swear!"
