Scott

"Kitty, c'mon, you're going to have to get out of there sometime!" Scott yelled.

But no answer was heard. Just silent sobs.

It didn't exactly surprise him, though.

She had been like this for three days now.

The worst part was that nothing helped either. No one could get through to her.

Professor Xavior had tried, Storm had tried, Jean had tried, Kurt had, Spike had, Rouge had, doctor Mccoy had, Logan had, he himself had tried, heck, even the new recruits had tried!

Alvers must have meant a lot for her.

Scott didn't understand why, though.

Kitty

Kitty refused to answer Scott.

Her light, pink pillow was stained with tears.

Every time she closed her eyes, or even just looked in the mirror, she could se his face!

But not his usual, playful look, no the hurt one.

The one he had worn when she…

When she had ruined everything!

She could almost not even cope with herself anymore.

She was truly disgusted with herself, well most what she said to him.

The worst part of all this was that she always heard the fight in her head.

She heard it all the time, nonstop. It wasn't a second of silence in her head.

"This is who you really are, isn't it? Your just a… a hood!"

How could she say that?

Fresh tears were running down her face.

"That's right, Kitty. I'll never be good enough for you!"

"Shut up! SHUT UP!" she screamed, as she held her head between her hands.

"Please… Just shut up…" her voice faded.

New, loud sobs were pressing up her throat.

And she was completely oblivious for the pair of eyes staring at her.

Lance

Lance had been unable to concentrate on anything for three whole days now.

Her words had kept haunting him.

He knew she was right, he was a hood.

But it hurt hearing her say it. He felt… backstabbed.

But, since this was going nowhere, he had decided to check on her.

He almost turned and ran away when he came so far.

He had heard Summers voice tell someone to get out, but had gotten no answer.

He had seen a limp figure in one of the bed. It took a while before he realized it was Kitty.

When he took a look closer he had seen the pillow. It was wet, and had stains of mascara on it.

Kitty had suddenly gotten out of the bed, but slid down to the floor.

And then she had started screaming. He couldn't understand the words, though.

Wait, that was a "sup up"… No, it was shut up! Straight after she had begged it to be quiet.

He slowly stood up from his hiding space, and walked in to her.

"Hey Kitty…" he said, hesitantly.

Her head shot up from its safe hiding place in her hands.

Some of her hair fell into her beautiful face.

Lance had a strong urge to walk over to her and brush it away.

Ugh, he sounded like some love struck teen, reading romance novels.

Her bright, blue, and, in Lance's opinion gorgeous, eyes snapped open.

He felt very silly standing here now, in the middle of her bedroom, her staring at him.

It felt like her eyes burned holes through his head.

"So… how are you holding up?"

Kitty narrowed her eyes at him, before replying.

"I'm perfect. Terrific. Great even!" at first Lance cringed.

But, looking up, he saw a playful smile on her soft, pink lips.

He grinned. She laughed.

With that, the awkwardness was gone.

After a whole lot of explanations, apologizes and talking, they'd made up.

And he had felt ecstatic when she had let him kiss her goodnight.

And it was definitely going to be a good night.

A/N: I know I haven't really gotten any reviewers, but I like writing, and of course I'd want more of them. But still, here's another story. Thanks for reading if nothing else.

Disclaimer: I do not own X-Men Evolution, if I did it probably would have sucked!
