Hi there, this is a thing I've been working on months ago. This can be a OS or a multi-chap fic. We'll see. AU obviously.

"I'm going to have to reassign you to administration for the time being, Coulson." Director Fury said to the agent in front of him, the physical injuries are healing, but the mental and emotional toll was clear to him.
"But sir, I'm almost fully healed, I know I can handle going back in the field. Besides, who's going to oversee Barton and Romanoff's ops, if I'm not going to be there?" Coulson, knows that he can push through the injuries, besides they were almost healed anyways, so he doesn't understand why he has to be reassigned.
"Agent Sitwell is perfectly capable of doing your job for a couple of months. Coulson, you are not fine, and the last thing you need now is to be back in the field. This is my order, report to administration at 0900 tomorrow." Director Fury said firmly.
"Yes sir." Coulson nodded, then exited the office.
"Agent May, please see me in my office immediately." May looked up from her cubicle, and followed the supervisor assigned to the boss's office.
May entered, and walked to the middle of the room. Just in front of her boss's desk.
"Please sit." Agent Matthews motioned for her to take a seat.
"Director Fury has reassigned a Level 7 field agent to administration, and you were assigned to guide him through this transition." He said as he handed her the document containing the director's order.
"I'm only a Level 3 agent." She scanned the information written, then stared at the agent in front of her.
"We both know, that you're not just a Level 3 agent, May. You've both been out there in the field, so it might be easier for him, if you showed him the ropes." He smiled at her sadly, but knowingly.
The mention of her field work still made her uncomfortable, but she needs to do her job.
"Alright, sir. But, who's the agent?" May eventually gave in.
"Agent Phillip Coulson. You know him?" Agent Matthews asked nonchalantly.
"We might have crossed paths before." May looked down at the paper, not reading it, just wanting to avoid the gaze of her boss.
"Good then. You're dismissed." May stood up and went back to her area, thinking about how the next day will go for her.
"May?" He was actually really surprised to see her, since he hasn't talked to her in years. Not since Bahrain.
"Agent Coulson." May greeted in most professional tone, Coulson ever heard come out of her mouth.
"Are you supposed to be the welcoming committee?" He smiled at the thought, trying to lighten the mood, but she didn't even crack a smirk.
"Follow me please." May turned her back to him, wanting to get this over as soon as she possibly could.
"This will be your desk. I should assume you have been briefed on how things generally work down here, so just ask me if you have other questions." She motioned to the cubicle of level 3 agents, and was starting to walk away when he just had to get his irritation get the better of him.
"Yeah, I have one. Have you seen my former partner? She looks exactly like you, but actually acts like she knows me." He said in an accusatory tone.
May stopped for a moment, but didn't look back at Coulson.
"Melinda." Coulson said in a whisper, trying to coax her to talk to him.
"We have work to do Agent Coulson." May couldn't let that happen, she walked back to her cubicle.
"I guess we do Agent May." Coulson just set his stuff down the desk and sighed in frustration. So much for that, he was going to try harder tomorrow, but for now, they both need their space.
I would like to hear what you think about this, okay? Because I'm doubting if I can still do this, you know, writing stuff. So reviews are always welcome.
