Don't own the show or the characters in it.

My mind is filled with Peter and Neal ideas, this is the one I picked to write.

I followed Peter at a quick pace. I hadn't realized just how fast he was until I actually saw him run. Even on stairs he was quick. "Would you hurry up?" He calls with panic in his voice. I had no idea what his plan was here. We had no back up and we were being chased by several men with guns. I used the railing to boost me faster up the stairs.

I could hear footsteps behind us and my heart was racing. I hadn't felt like this since Peter was hunting me down. I missed the danger and the adrenaline. Only this time Peter was running with me instead of after me. I preferred it this way.

"Damn it Neal, would you move faster?" He was already at the door. I pushed myself to go faster. He pushes the door open and we race outside. We were on the rooftop. "Fuck, now what?" I ask. He grabs my hand and takes me around the building. He peers over the edge. I do the same. Only I'm pretty sure we don't see the same thing.

"Peter… do you trust me?" He looks up "Yes… what do you have in mind?" I was taken back for a moment… he trusted me. That was… unexpected, but it felt good to know someone had faith in me. The door of the rooftop opens. I don't have any longer to think about it or we would end up dead. I grab him and jump.

I grab onto the ledge of an open window. I had spotted it from the roof and knew if I timed it right I could grab it. Peter was clinging to me and making my arm stretch painfully with the added weight. "Peter" I groan and he quickly reaches up to grab the ledge. He hauls himself up and climbs into the building. He then takes my arm and helps me inside.

"Don't you ever fucking do that again!" His eyes were wide with fear and I could hear his heart racing. I chuckle and rub my shoulder "You have to admit… that was pretty bad-ass. It was like a James Bond move." He grunts at me and looks around. "We better get out of here before they come to find us."

We race back down the stairs and out back where his car was. He drives quickly heading to the bureau. All I could thing about was how he had said he had trusted me. He hadn't even had to think about it… he just… did. I don't think I ever had anyone trust me like that in my life.

Strange…
