Disclaimer: Well, we're back with another story. Yup, you guessed it, Voyager and all the characters belong to Paramount. I don't think we're a threat……

1 Monday

Kathryn Janeway was sitting in her ready room enjoying a cup of coffee. Neelix had managed to make a pretty good cup this time. She was reviewing the away team reports when she realized she had run out of coffee. She reached to touch her combadge when she dropped the report.

"Damn! Janeway to Torres. What's wrong with the gravity? Everything in here is glued to the floor."

"Um…I'll try to fix it. We're having problems with the warp core alignment procedure. We've been working on it since last night."

"I want gravity back to normal by 0200 hours. Janeway out."

B'Elanna turned to the nearest ensign and handed him a tool. She told him he was on the warp core alignment team. She had some business to attend to.

"Torres to Kim. Harry, are you busy right now?"

"I'll be right down. Kim out."

B'Elanna ran to the nearest gravity control station and prepared to attempt to fix it. The next thing she knew, the gravity had dropped and she was floating in mid-air. The controls were below her, but out of reach. So close yet so far.

"Janeway to Torres. What the hell is going on down there? I'm beginning to get airsickness!! Why am I floating?" Captain Janeway sounded very mad.

"I'm working on it Captain. I…. Ow!" B'Elanna muttered something in Klingon under her breath. Captain Janeway was glad that the Universal Translator wasn't on.

"What happened?"

"I ran into Lieutenant Carey. We're out of control down here. Could you send someone in a magnetic suit to fix this?"

On the bridge however, there were many problems with controls as well. Tom was floating over the helm singing the Captain Proton theme. Chakotay thought he was mad and Tuvok was regarding Tom with one eyebrow cocked.

Tuvok looked over at Chakotay. "Perhaps the gravity is interfering with the normal functions of his brain."

"If they weren't already malfunctioning," stated Chakotay.

"Bridge to sickbay."

"Please state the nature of the medical emergency," came the voice of Voyager's Emergency Medical Hologram.

"There isn't one, we just need to know if anything down there is malfunctioning?"

"Why no. Everything is in top condition. Why?"

"We were wondering if you could do us two favors. Come to the bridge and check the neurological signs on Ensign Paris, and go to engineering and fix this damned gravity. Or at least get B'Elanna down."

"Down from where?"

"Uhh…You'll see when you get there."

Janeway was still floating but she had found a comfortable position so that she could still read the reports. She had to watch out for the walls though.

"Thank you doctor for getting me down. Now I can fix the gravity controls. I'll just twist this and pull this and, there. It's done."

People all over the ship began to fall from their perches. Some crewmembers fell and broke their bones, but very few did. On the bridge, Chakotay, Tuvok and Tom fell onto the floor. Luckily no one broke any bones. In her ready room, Kathryn fell onto the desk. She thought she had broken one of her fingers. The doctor came up and fixed it promptly.

"How are you feeling now captain?" he asked after fixing the broken finger.

"Do you really want to know how I feel Doctor?"

"Enlighten me."

"I HATE Mondays!"
