"Commander Samuel Xavier, correct?"
"Yes, Inquisitor. Why have you brought me here?"
"Your forces were assisted by reinforcements that mysteriously showed up, correct?"
"Yes, that is true."
"Who were these reinforcements?"
"They called themselves the 'Crimson Raiders'. They were lead by a psyker, an assassin, a space marine, and a Cadian commander. The leaders were called 'Vault Hunters'."
"What were their forces like?"
"They used Stormhawk gunships for air support, Sentinels for scouting and flanking, Leman Russes for armor, and Taroux Primes for transports. There were Special Weapon squads, each armed with lascannons. There were several thousand guardsmen, dressed in red armor, and grey and black fatigues. They used what seemed to be lasguns, but they were able to wipe away the head of a Chaos Marine with one shot. They used Scions and Primaris Interceptors to flank the enemy infantry. There were several hundred more Primaris marines, armed with bolt rifles and hellblasters, and several ancients and lieutenants, and captains with gravis armor. The higher ranks wore red, blue, and green armor, while the rank and file marines wore armor painted with white torsos and arms, red legs, and grey helmets. There were several squads of Skitarii rangers, and about a hundred Kalestean Robots, painted yellow. They turned the tide of the battle, and allowed us to defeat the forces of Chaos."
"Tell me of the battle, Commander. How did they fight?"
"They fought with determination that I have never seen before. Not one man retreated from the battle. They strafed the enemy ranks with their gunships, while the lascannon squads and tanks destroyed their vehicles. Then, after their vehicles were taken out, they sent their Scions and Interceptors behind enemy lines, effectively surrounding them. As the last vehicles was destroyed, the Space Marines and Guardsmen charged in, blasting away at the Chaos Space Marines. They fell as las, bolter, and plasma fire raked through their ranks. The Infantry was lead by the Vault Hunters, who were quite skilled in their own rights. After the threat was dealt with, the Crimson Raiders left in the Tarouxes, and we have not seen them since."
"I see. This is quite interesting. I will inform my higher ups about these Crimson Raiders. Thank you, that will be all, Commander."
