It was a clear night. Not like the past few nights, where the clouds had covered the sky. The stars. It had been both a relief and an anxiety; not being able to look up at the night sky and imagine what was up there.

But now she found her eyes drifting upwards, searching the Tokyo skies for something. She liked to come out here, where they had defeated Deep Blue and released Mew Aqua, because no one was around. Nature had taken over again, and it was peaceful and dark, the only place in Tokyo where the bright artificial lights couldn't interfere with her stargazing. If stars were really what she were searching for.

There were millions of stars out there, all with tons of planets orbiting them, beyond her vision. Which one was his? He left so unexpectedly, so quickly, he got up and left her life, like he was never there to begin with. Well, she couldn't say it was unexpected; they had finished their mission.

She never thought she had the right to ask him to stay. He was the villain and she was supposed to be the savior of the earth clad in pink. She couldn't have fraternized with him, no matter how much she wanted to, she would be letting down so many people!

But now that it was all over and everything had died down, she wished she had more than anything. Told him she reciprocated his feelings. Told him she wanted him to stay, or at least to take her with him. He had risked his life for her and he still thought she loved Masaya. He left before she had the guts to say any of that; she was so caught up in the moment.

Now he was possibly in a different galaxy, and there was absolutely no way to tell him. She would lie there and pick out which star was his, and speak to the sky all that she wanted to say to him. She would imagine her words floating up into space and somehow finding him, giving him a clue that she loved him. And then he would have a reason to return.

He knew exactly where she was, but she couldn't find him, no matter how she grasped at the night sky. So, loyally she came there each night, hoping he would receive her feelings, and come find her, lying under his star.

Sighing, she stood up, shivering slightly from the chilly air and the moist ground she had been lying on.

'Come warm me up soon, Kisshu. Come find me.' Ichigo whispered softly, glancing up one more time before heading back towards the city.

Just a short musing about what Ichigo would feel when the person she loved left to another planet, with no way of seeing him again, before she could say she loved him. I'm thinking about adding more, and making it a full story, we'll see~ :)
