Just A Necklace
Jade held it high above her head. It dangled above her head and stared intently at the object of her most intense concentration. A birthday gift. But not just any birthday gift, her birthday gift from her boyfriend. A necklace. She bit her lip as she stared at it. She yelled and threw it against the wall. A black heart, that was what rested on the chain. She glared at it from its spot now on her floor. She clenched her teeth at the dumb thing and practically prickled and snarled as it moved.
"Killer!" she yelled as her cat who went down the hallway with her present. "Good riddance!" she yelled after her black cat with one white paw. "I didn't want the dumb thing anyway!" she turned from her door pouted on her bed.
"Ah come now that hurts," she heard her boyfriend's voice call. She turned on her bed to face him "I took this back from Killer," he said holding her necklace up.
"Ya I know, he took it from the floor and ran out," she shrugged.
"Why did you throw it?" he pouted.
"Well what the hell was it supposed to mean?" she yelled.
"What do you mean?" he asked confused.
"A black heart? Really! What the hell was I supposed to think it meant! I know how symbolic and shit you are! If you thought my heart was black you could have just said it!"
Jade was silenced as Beck kissed her. Jade looked up at him and he gave her a funny sideways grin. "Babe calm down. The heart was because I love you, the black is just because it's your favorite color. If you want me to go out and get you a girlie pink heart then I can do that but- ow," he said as Jade hit him.
"If you ever buy me anything pink I'll feed it to Killer and make him puke it back up in your hair care products."
Beck tensed "anything but those," he whined.
"Never pink."
"Never pink," and with that they kissed.
AN: Just a cute little one shot that wouldn't stop bouncing around in my head. Please review.
