AN: For 1/2 of a prompt from Wittywallflower on Tumblr. Jescker and cookies! Next part soonish

Also- fluff galore! And new headcannon for Becksy. ^^

"You're serious?" Becker could tell that Jess was trying not to laugh, but come on, when would he have had an opportunity or need to learn to bake cookies?! His mother had left, and his father hadn't ever been interested in baking cookies, so naturally he hadn't taught Hilary Becker.

Maybe it was because he felt bad for saddling him with the femenin-sounding "family name", or whatever, but his father had always impressed upon Becker the need to always be "manly". Becker didn't really think like that, and he liked Jess. They'd been dating for a few weeks now, and his fondness for anything and everything related to Jess Parker had only grown. And she had mentioned…

And since he didn't know how to make cookies…

He nodded.

"Yes, I really don't know how to. But I want to, Jess. You're a good baker, and we're already in your kitchen, so we might as well…"

"Okay!" She replied cheerily, and then suddenly she was a flurry of motion around the kitchen of her flat, taking out pans and bowls and ingredients. Fondly amused, he got the flour off of the highest shelf when she couldn't reach, and watched quietly as Jess set to, not missing a beat, still wearing her outrageously tall heels even in her own home.

"Right, so…"

Becker hummed along to the song playing on the radio, and nudged Jess lightly with his hip as they stood next to each other, putting balls of fresh cookie dough onto the cooking pan. She laughed, and hip-checked him back. He grinned, and threw flour at her, putting down the cookie dough and running when Jess sent him a mock-glare and then gave chase with a handful of flour.

He faced her from the opposite side of the kitchen counter after a few minutes of running around and around, and they both panted and laughed.

"I thought… we were… supposed… to be making cookies?" Becker said between breaths. Jess had her forehead pressed to the counter and was still giggling.

"Jess?"

"I'm okay, I'm calm. C'mon, we should get these in the oven - and then clean ourselves up!"

"Are we putting chocolate chips in them?" Becker asked, moving back into the kitchen and kissing Jess on the nose before he pulled a package of semi sweet chips out of his jacket pocket.

"You're like a magician with anything chocolate, Becks!" She exclaimed, grabbing the bag and tearing it open.

"Woah!"

"Woops! i'm not usually this messy!" Chocolate chips had escaped fro mthe torn bag and fallen all over the place. Becker chuckled.

"I'll help you clean up after."

Soon the cookies were in the oven and the timer was set.

The counters were cleaned and most of the flour was out of their respective hair and clothing when the cookies were done. Becker took them out of the oven, placing them down on a plate to cool.

"Now there's just one thing left to do and then we can officially say you know how to make cookies." Jess announced, leaning against him slightly. Becker smiled.

"What's that?"

"We have to eat them!"
