ROSE IS INSECURE

I do not own anything you recognize! English is NOT my native langugage, so if you notice any mistakes (and i'm sure there's plenty of them :/ ) please don't mind, I did my best! Oh and please, pretty please with a cherry on top review!

''Doctor, what is my purpose here? What do you need me for?'' Rose asked leaning over the railway with an insicure look on her face

''Rose, what do you mean?'' Doctor poked his head out underneath the glass floor so he can see her

''I have all this questions in my head that keep nagging me…I just..I can't keep it inside anymore.''

''Tell me then, explain'' he said in a calm voice

''I mean, you're a 903 year old Time lord, you know so much, you don't die, you've seen everything there is to see, what do you need me for? I'm just a plain human, I'm not even special in any way, I just…am. I am going to die one day, you are not, you keep saving planet Earth and people on it even though you've seen how greedy and corrupted us humans can be, why do you insist on having us near, why do you keep saving us?''

''I….Rose, never say that you are not special, you are so wonderful, compassionate, a bit naive actually…'' he said with an affectionate smile on his face

''I suppose I am naive, just a stupid, naive girl from a shop.'' she said while her eyes were filling up with warm tears

''No, no, no! That's not what i was trying to say!''

''Then tell me Doctor, tell me! What am I, What are we, pathetic lot? What are we to you, a clever Time lord, last of it's own!? Sometime I think you keep us just to have someone to admire you! ''

The Doctor walked up to her and sat down with a clear hurt expression on his face

''Do you really think that?'' he asked her sadly

''No, no. I'm sorry, I'm just a bit confused about, well about everything.''

''Rose, when I said naive, well… that was a bit exaggerated, what I ment was… kindhearted, forgiving-so human , you see a good side in everyone…even me, you give everyone a chance. I like having you around because… you're amazing, you are intelligent, beautiful and as I said, human. I keep saving you lot because you are so… innocent and young, and yes, there are many humans that are greedy, and corrupted, and even cruel, but those are just a minority! And I think you know, deep down, you know what you mean to me, you're just not sure of it.''

Rose was a bit ashamed now, how could she attack the Doctor like that? But what did he mean with that all ''deep down'' ? Unless…..no it can't be, he's not even the same species as her, he's never showed THAT kind of affection to her, does he really love her?

The Doctor stood up and whispered in her ear ''Be sure of it, Rose Tyler,be sure of it, always.''

''Doctor?'' Rose asked like she needed confirmation of his love, of him understanding her feelings

''Yes.'' The Doctor said strongy with his eyes glowing with love

''Trust me, Rose Tyler, belive in me and my love for you, because no matter where or when we are, even in the darkest parts of the universe, in hell, I will come back for you, I will keep you safe.''
