This is just a little teaser for an idea I've been toying with. Please review and let me know whether you think I should keep it up!

I don't own The Hunger Games, The Sound of Music, or any of it's associated plots, characters, or themes.

Katniss was late.

Sister Effie knew she was late. So the nun sat at the front gate of the abbey, waiting for Katniss to return.

"She's late again, isn't she?" Sister Portia commented as she passed Sister Effie.

Effie nodded. "Poor girl. She wants so much to be good but she's just...not cut out for this I think."

Just then, Katniss ran through the gates and past the two nuns, stopping to splash some water on her face.

Sister Effie cleared her throat, thus catching the attention of Katniss, who turned around sheepishly.

"Please forgive me, Reverend Mother," she mumbled, staring at the ground.

The elder nun came forward and placed a hand on Katniss's shoulder.

"Miss Everdeen," she whispered, "I'd like to speak with you. Privately."

"Katniss," Sister Effie said as she slid into her chair. "I think it might be best if you'd leave us."

Katniss stood, horrified, "Leave!?"

Sister Effie motioned for the girl to sit. "Only for a little while. Just enough time for you to go out int the world and decide whether you are ready to join us here, permanently."

"I am ready, Reverend Mother. I am!"

"Then just consider it a vacation," the nun sighed. "I've spoken with Captain Mellark, a former naval captain. He's looking for a nanny to look after his seven children."

"SEVEN CHILDREN?"

Sister Effie shot Katniss a disapproving look. "You will go, and that's final, Miss Everdeen."

"Yes, ma'am."
