Bittersweet Revenge
She stood on the edge of the tower, letting the wind flow through her silky black hair. The sound of footsteps on the stairs let her know that she'd been spotted. She smiled and turned around, now facing a thin, yet muscular teenager. "Blackfire…" The boy said in a menacing voice. The older girl watched in amusement as his eyes became slits, resembling those of a snake. "Don't worry Robin," the girl said in a sweet voice. Her eyes sparkled, making it apparent that she was up to no good. "I haven't come to take over your silly little planet." She took a step towards the boy, and watched him shift into a battle stance. "I haven't even come to destroy your precious city." Though the boy remained in his battle stance, she thought she saw him breathe a sigh of relief. They were now very close together, their noses almost touching. The sound of a new set of footsteps on the stairs reached the alien girl's sensitive ears, though they remained unknown to the boy. The girl's smile grew wider, as she realized who was climbing the stairs to the roof. Using this knowledge, she timed her next few steps perfectly. Gently, the mischievous alien placed her hand on the boy's cheek, feeling him grow tense under her fingertips. She listened to the sounds coming from the steps that seemed to get closer by the second, though they were unfortunately still too soft for the earth boy's ears to detect. Slowly she moved her hand until it rested under his chin, and turned his head so it now faced her. Even though she didn't have a doubt in her mind that the teenager could have broken free of her grasp, the look in his eyes told her that he was too confused and curious of what she was going to do to do so. "All I want..." Her face closed in on his, "Is to get…" the sound of the roof door creaking open could be heard as the raven haired girl went in for the kill, "…a little revenge." And with that, the alien closed the spaced in between herself and the boy, pressing her lips to his cheek. Blackfire grinned to herself, as she watched her sister out of the corner of her eye. She pulled away from the titan's leader and turned to face her sister, who was in a state of shock, having just seen her sister kissing the boy she loved. "This is truly a great revenge." The girl smiled to herself and flew away, leaving tears and broken hearts behind her.
