A/N: So this idea came into my head after watching 'The Pack' on Sunday. I was considering who or what the 'wolf-shaped bullet' could be. For some reason I see Nina as the most likely candidate, a friend of mine thinks it will be her cub/baby (if it has survived the transformation). So enjoy I guess. Crits and Reviews are most welcome.
A wolf-shaped bullet. He laughs bitterly. Of course, he should have seen it coming. All this time he was worried about other werewolves. He didn't think to look right under his nose, didn't consider for one second that it could be one of them. One of his friends. It should have been obvious from the moment he heard those words. Kemp had supposedly killed all werewolves bar George and Nina – that in itself should have sent alarm bells ringing. Then there was Lia. The twisted smile she wore as she spoke those words to him, the way she relished them, "You're going to be killed by a werewolf...A wolf-shaped bullet." He should have known.
Now here his is, staring death, his death, in the face. He watches as Nina's agile wolf lunge at him, protecting it, protecting her cub from harm. As she comes towards him he contemplates his purgatory. If they decided to send Annie to hell then God only knows where they'll send him. Despite his knowledge of the 'afterlife' he can't help but smile. This is how it was meant to end. Hypocrite. He thinks as he remembers the time he told Annie that fate was a load of crap. Thinking about her makes him smile wider. He was lucky, to have had friends like that, to have had a relationship like that. He didn't deserve any of it. Not one bit of it. But he's so glad he had it all the same. Then he closes his eyes and opens his arms, welcoming death, inviting it to take him at last.
