I'm back again, this time with another one-shot. It does include spoilers for 'Mockingjay', and although it isn't a very important part, you shouldn't read it if you haven't read the book. I randomly opened the book to a page, and voila! And just in case you're wondering, there isn't a connection between all my one-shots. Now, enjoy! And thank you all :) And yeah, pretty crappy quote, and song as a matter of fact.

'I threw a wish in the well, don't ask me I'll never tell, I looked to you as it fell, and now you're in my way. I'll trade my soul for a wish, pennies and dimes for a kiss, I wasn't looking for this, but now you're in my way.'

- Carly Rae Jepson, Call Me Maybe

Through The Eyes Of A Capitolite

I purse my lips, the grease of the delicious sausage I'm eating smearing my lipstick. I'm in a hurry, unfortunately, so I don't have any time to fix it. Panicking, I use my compact mirror to look at my once-perfect appearance. Hmm, not too bad. I should be able to fix that when I get home. It would be utterly impossible to walk any faster than this in my shoes; because of course I wore my favourites today, my neon green platform heels, 5 inches high. They even sound amazing, don't they? Of course they do. Have you seen on the news, those vermin rebels who are running rampant around the Capitol?! I don't ever feel safe anymore! Who knows what could happen! And that girl, what's her name? Katnip? Anyway, she's terrifying! Thank god my apartment is just up ahead, otherwise, who knows what mess I could get into!
Throwing open the door, I call out to Patrick, my good friend who was staying tonight. Then something shocking appears right in front of me. Her! It's her! And she's pointing her weapon at me! I scream, but I don't get far. It's almost like it's in slow motion; the arrow flies towards me, and, nothing. A dark, empty space of nothing.
