A/N: I Do Not Own Anything
SUMMARY: Rachel Berry a Cheerio? Breaking the cliques and peoples hearts? Dare say: being a social butterfly or worst a teenager? What is going on in McKinley?
"I need to change." I declare in Kurt's bedroom after running the two miles to his house. He's lying on his bed reading and clearly not caring.
"Happy Tuesday to you to." He turns a page, "Did you go over this week's set list yet." I plop on his bed, slamming his book down.
"Which is exactly why I'm changing my life and why you're going to help me!" I bore into him with my eyes, begging him to see the truth in my words and the desperation of his help.
"Rachel, Rachel, Rachel," He sighs. "Why change who you are? You're the best- after me anyway." He jokes.
"Says the one with more than one friends and an outside world that consists of more than just the arts," I point out. "I need to more like you, like Mercedes and dare I even say: Quinn Fabray!" Kurt shakes his head.
"Need I remind you that she got pregnant, then made Finn think he was the father when it was actually Puck." He looks at me hard. "Why be like that sweetie?" I lay back on his bed.
"Because everyone thinks I'm boring!" I admit flatly and loud. "You saw what happened in club yesterday!"
This week's set list is based on life. Mr. Schuester allowed everyone to team up in duets and present songs that evoked their meaning of fun, adventure and living life to the fullest. Needless to say, I was not chosen by anyone. Anyone.
"I only picked Mercedes because-" Kurt begins to defend.
"The reason doesn't matter Kurt, its idea that does: I wasn't chosen and I'm never chosen." I jump up. "I'm going to be more fun." I place my hands on my hips in determination. "I'm going to live! I'm going to gain a social life and be chosen!" I turn to my best friend. "Kurt I'm going to be a Cheerio."
What do you guys think?
