Using the ectobiolgy lab, the trolls managed to create paradox clones of themselves. This however wasn't on purpose, Karkat was just bored. So anyway, they were here and they were grubs, or baby trolls as you could call them. So the occasion arrived where they needed someone to babysit the grubs.
