A/N: Hi again! The summary says it all so POTATOES, man, POTATOES. Plus, let's just pretend Marlene can write, okay? Okay!
UPDATE: Just correcting some stuff. I was on Lazy Mode when I published this, and, frankly, I'm ashamed of all the errors here. Hope you like it!
Dear diary,
Today I went on yet another "five-man operation" with the penguins. This time it's not so dangerous. I only have to go along with them through a driving obstacle course. Skipper wanted me to drive but I don't think the passenger seat has ever looked this good to me.
After that really crazy mission (I got four bruises and a scar, but what do you expect?) Skipper and I walk home since the other three had to clean up the evidence. He told me about his night and while I listen I count the colors in his eyes. Navy, cerulean, azure, peacock—who knew eyes were so colorful?
Then I suddenly blurt out "Hey Skipper, have you ever fallen in love before?" He looks kind of surprised at what I said.
"Well, yeah," he answers. "But it usually turns out terribly.
"I'll never fall in love again." He swears.
I laugh. "I hope you're wrong."
"Why?" He asked.
"Well, love is wonderful, and I hope you find the right woman." I fake a smile while I say this. Why? Because I'm wishing he was mine.

Dear diary,
Today I hung out with the boys again since I've got nothing better to do. Lolla and Private went out to the park, Kowalski was inventing again, and Rico was off assisting him. In other words, Skipper and I were pretty much alone. So I decide to ask him tons of questions.
"What's your favorite color?"
"Green."
"Do you like to argue?"
"No, I love to argue."
"Ha ha. When were you born?"
"August seventeenth."
"Whose eyes do yours more closely resemble?"
"My father's. I'll ask the questions this time, okay?"
"Sure."
"What's your favorite thing to do?"
"Swim."
"What's your favorite color?"
"Hm, red."
This went on until the others came back. I hoping he would ask me if I love him (I do) but I'd lie.

Dear diary,
Today I'm watching the penguins doing their morning exercise. Skipper hasn't spotted me yet. Oh wait, now he did. He's yelling and ranting at me about why not to spy and neighbor privacy. Oh, Skipper. Why must you act so cute?
He stands there and walks away. Oh God, if I could only say I'm holding every breath for him. I love him so much, but does he love me back?
xxxxxxx
Dear diary,
Today I finally did it! I finally told Skipper I loved him! And guess what? He said he loved me back! I'm so happy! Now we're a couple!
Later, after this party King Julien insisted he threw just for the occasion (but I know he's just trying to convince me that he loved me first), we walked home. I asked why he couldn't see we loved each other earlier. He said it was because he was afraid of rejection. I replied that I understood him. We chatted all the way home until something really great happened! Skipper kissed me! He just came closer to me and then there it was!
This is the best day ever.
A/N: Yes, I agree this is terribly cliché. And way too short.
Please review!
Thanks for reading!
