Chapter 1: He Wouldn't Miss His Own Wedding!

Disclaimer: I don't own these characters (except for Katie, Rebekah, ) Disney, I think, does.

Here begins the story of Jack Sparrow, Elizabeth Swan, Will Turner, and Rebekah James.

How be ye, me hearties? Me name is Cap'n Jack Sparrow. I bet ye've heard the story of the Black Pearl, ay? Well, I bet ye've never heard what happened after I won me ship back 'ave ya? Well, I'll be tellin' ya. It all begins at Elizabeth and Will's weddin'........

"Where is Will?" Elizabeth Swan-soon-to-be-Turner paced up and down the room. "He should have been here hours ago," she yelled at her maid, Katie. "Miss Swan, love, 'e'll show up. 'E loves you. 'E wouldna miss his own weddin'!" Katie tried to soothe her mistress, but to no avail. "He better be here soon! Or I'll cancel the wedding," Elizabeth was getting very agitated. "No need to go that far, Miss!" Katie knew that Elizabeth was overly dramatic at times. "I suppose you're right, Katie. He will arrive soon." She looked out the window, "I hope," she thought.

Meanwhile...............................................................................................

"Jack. JACK SPARROW!" Will Turner was getting ready for his wedding to his childhood sweetheart, Elizabeth. Jack Sparrow, drunk as usual, was asleep in the corner of the room. "Jack! Wake up! We're late for the wedding!" Will walked over to the chair and pushed Jack onto the floor. Jack sat up, looking dazed. "What the hell did you do that for, boy? I was gettin' me self some sleep, savvy?" "NO, Jack, it's not. You are my best man; now get your self off the floor and come on." Will pulled Jack to his feet. "Well, it should be me marryin' Elizabeth. I spent the most time wit 'er on the Pearl. I love her," Jack thought to himself as Will dragged him out the door.

They arrived just before Elizabeth cancelled the wedding. "Oh, I am so nervous," Will thought, "How do I know if I really love her? I mean, I loved her as a boy, but now? I don't know." "Will Turner! Where 'ave ye been? Miss Swan is terrible angry! Ye best get to the altar at once a'for she cancels the 'ole thing!" Katie ran off to get her seat. "Lord, Elizabeth is so stubborn and bossy. Maybe I don't love her. I've never actually had a relationship with another girl. Hmmmmm. Should I marry her? Or should I not? Oh, maybe I'll ask Jack," and he went to find Jack. "Oh, hello Will, lad," Jack said, slurring his words, of course. "Aren't ye supposed to be up their wit Elizabeth?"

"Jack, I need to ask you something."

"Sure, boy, ask me anythin."

"I'm not sure if I really love Elizabeth. I mean, I though I did, but now I'm not so sure."

"Do you love her or not, Will?"

"I don't know, Jack! That's why I'm askin' for your advice."

"Maybe you should wait awhile on the weddin'."

"You think so? She won't be very happy about this."
