Arthur's pov

...

I know. I have known for the longest of times. He never told me. But I knew the moment he walked up to me and told me I was an ass. I knew because I was just a child I was told by some druids.

When I was a kid I was taken for a ride with my dad because he wanted to be the person to teach me to hunt. we were attacked by druids. No man was killed or hurt, all they did was take me from the group party. They told me about a legend, of a man that will change my life. They spoke of how today on all days he was born. They cast a spell allowing me to see the " light " that will radiate from him. Days turned into years and by the time i knew it, it had been almost a little over a decade. Then one day he showed up, and everything changed. He changed my life for the good. He showed me magic is not all evil but a storm. It was that watered the crops or the lighting to burned the houses. It is merely how one would look at it.

But that was years ago, nearly three decades since his arrival and nearly 2 decades since his passing. He was just barely just a man. Merlin passed away in the great battle of Camelot. He took the sword that the traitor druid boy had planed to kill me with. He thought that he took his secret to the grave. But I knew the truth.

I walk the halls with my 19-year-old son to the tomes of Emrys. Merlin resting place. The truth of my birth and Merlin was raveled to the public later on during reconstruction. The stunned carried Camelot for months. One the day of Merlin's fouranl, Merlin' s Law became public. Magic was allowed in Camelot once again. Over the years the tomb became a place of religion. People who flowed Merlin's belief would come before the third bell till midnight on a Wednesday night, and say a prayer and leave a coin. Many of the people believe by leaving a coin they are allowing Merlin in the afterlife to purchase materials so that away he was comfortable.

Personally though, I never believed Merlin to be a god or some powerful being. Even though he is one. I always saw him has my little brother. A person that needed me, to help, love, and do everything that an older brother was sposed to do. I still come to show that I will never forget what he has done for me and everyone else.
