'What does Akabane see in her?' Asano Gakushū question himself as he stares in the face of a small girl in front him. His light violet clashes against the girl's darker ones as they stay in eye-contact. He entraps the girl with his forearm against the wall and his height towering over her. The girl could only shrink herself in fear as she meets his monotone eyes.
"D-D-Did you need something?" She squeaks to break the ice between them. Blood risen to her cheeks in Crimson blushes as he didn't say anything but only brought his face closer to her's.
The strawberry-blonde boy wasn't sure as he closure in for examination. Her face tries to back away as far as she could when the wall won't allow such space.
"What's so interesting about you?" He ask sternly.
"Hm?!"
Asano sigh in thinking this girl doesn't understand a thing.
"What does he see in you?" He ask in simpler words.
"I-I honestly don't w-wh—"
"There you are Okuda-san!" A mischievous voice interrupts the two.
"K-Karma-kun!" The girl who goes by Okuda claim and instantly ran to his side. Leaving Asano at a bitter loss...what?
As the couple left and started up a small chat.
Asano was in still in lost of why his academic rival is interested in a plain girl like her.
But he himself might find something to be interested in her as well.
Another thing the boys have to compete against each other for.
