"Appreaciate it." He muttered to her, walking slowly. He kicked his legs out as he walked, he seemed to be enjoying himself. Not worried one bit about what can and will happen. Dressed in the finest nadsat fashion, his white shirt, matching the white pants and white suspenders, the pitch black boots and cod piece. He kept smiling through the mask he was wearing down at her. She herself seemed to be looking around catiously, breathing heavy in a panic. She was the nervous one. Dressed in only black shorts and a white top. She kept fidgiting with her long brown hair as she tried to giggle once or twice just to cover up the insanity that was hovering over her.
"Just relax. Appreacite it. Appreciate the cold night air, appreciate the sound of serenading crickets, the sound of distant cars and the sound of our feet walking along the concrete. It's golden, I tell you, golden." He chuckled. He finally made a sharp turn into a park area, he had mentioned the park to her earlier, but she didn't think out of all the places to go to at midnight, that he'd take her to a park. "Now, sit." He sat down on the ground while he pointed to a little spot that was covered in tall grass. She obeyed.
"Now listen..." He stopped talking for a moment, "I want to teach you. What.....I know. Certain materials that can help you walk along the psychotic side of the road with me." He crossed his legs and took a deep breath. "Do you like the night time? Hearing the sound of the trains in the distance? Breathing in the cold air, yet the rest of your body is warm and cozy? Thinking about all the trouble you could get into......Feel the rush? Don't try and fight it. Just embrace it, it may feel good to resist temptation.....But words can't describe how it feels to give into it. It's amazing. This must be when people talk about true happiess."
She had kept her eyes closed while listening to him, she finally opened her eyes. She wasn't shaking anymore, and she wasn't feeling nervous, and she wasn't feeling frightened. She just looked down at said, "But that's what society expects me to do. They expect me to give in to temptation, they're the ones that put it here...."
He shook his head, "Not true, friend, not true. They put drugs and alchohol here........But what I'm asking of you....Is to be what you really are. Don't think I can't see what's really in you......."
"...Alex..."
".................Sierra..........."
"It's there. I know it is."
