"Okay I can do this." a black-haired girl said under her breath.
Standing on either side of her were three or four men waiting for the order to start the test.
One of the Generals across the way pointed in the direction of a forest with an ice mountain and river with lots of rocks.
"We have supplied you with raw materials, we will rate you on your resourcefulness and technique." the General said, "You may begin."

With that the men walked to the forset and started drawing circles on the ground, and pushing the elements they needed onto the circles.

The girl walked to the ice and clapped her hands together, then touched the ice with her hands and the ice glowed before taking the shape of a building-size rose.
she then made a spark of electricity and created a flame from it making it bigger and bigger until it was a long thin snake, she directed it to rap around the rose and it stayed perfectly still, attached to the rose on the bottom.
She touched the ground and a snake-like vine slithered to the rose.

She stood back and admired her work, not noticing everyone looking at what she had done.
"Miss, would you mind telling me how you created that?" the General asked pointing at the rose.
"Alchemy sir." she said looking at him with a curious expression.
"Not that," the General said firmly, "How did you manipulate the elements to that degree?"
"My mother taught me." she replied. "She died six years ago." she added after a minute.
"Well that skill could be very useful, you will pass."
