This first chapter is pretty much a test to see how people like the idea. If you guys want more, I'll post the next chapter
This one is going to be mostly a family-esque fanfiction, with AmericaxOC in it (hence the summary)

Alfred hugged his sobbing girlfriend closer to him. He ignored his urge to start crying himself, and gently brushed his hand over her brown hair. "It's okay….I promise you that we'll make it through this." He mumbled. His girlfriend nodded into his chest, trembling. Alfred bit his lip as he thought about their circumstances; would they really be okay?
"Alfred…where are we going to go?" Emily asked, looking at Alfred. He closed his eyes for a moment to think. He then opened them and looked at Emily, tucking a stray lock of hair behind her left ear, sending her a strained smile. "We…we're going to ask my brother for help."
Matthew happily took a bite of a pancake which was drowned in syrup. "A lovely breakfast…" He thought. "…for a lovely day." Matthew smiled as he munched on another pancake. Kumajirou climbed onto the dining room table and stole a pancake from Matthew's plate before he started eating it. "You know…there's a plate over there for you." He said, motioning to the plate across the table from him. Kumajirou tilted his head. "Who are you?" He asked. Matthew rubbed his forehead in frustration before continuing to eat his breakfast. A knock on the front door interrupted his thoughts and he stood. As he started to walk towards the door, Kumajirou stole the rest of the pancakes off of his plate.
Matthew opened the door and was shocked to see Alfred standing there with his girlfriend Emily. Matthew had only met Emily once or twice before, but he still remembered her. "Um…good morning?" Matthew said, the confusion in his voice obvious. Alfred grinned a goofy grin. "Well bro…we kind of need to stay with you for a while."
