"Yeah, that's it. Bleach."
Renji eyed the magazine suspiciously. "Where did you get that?"
The younger boy shrugged his shoulders. "Sunkus. The convini you bump into when you walk down the street and then turn to the left. I thought it was something you could only buy there, but then I found the same stuff at a Seven Eleven and even at a bookstore... It seems to be not only part of that magazine, but they have also books of it."
"Uh, uh, wait." The red haired still tried to put all those information in order. "They have those...", he waved the Shonen Jump in his hand, "like everywhere?"
"Seems to." Rikichi sat down, and, leaning back to the wall, gave his idol a worried look. He hadn't seen the vice captain that confused in years, not since Rukia had asked him out years ago. Of course, neither Renji nor his girlfriend had known that they were observed, but since their fanboys had been kind of matchmakers, they had been there, hidden. They had kept their fingers crossed so hard that Hanatarou's had needed treatment after it... And it had worked out quite well. Although Renji-san had kind of ruined the moment when he had nearly fallen down the stairs when Rukia approached. Or so Hana said afterwards, when they had left the couple and hurried down the corridors in the desperate attempt to get back to their duties in time without being noticed by anybody.
At the moment, Renji actually looked as if he had fallen down the stairs right now. Or as if someone had hit his head with something very heavy... But Rikichi, who was full of admiration for his Renji-san and wouldn't have thought of thinking something like that that look was actually quite retarded (something Rukia said quite often lately), interpreted it as being deeply in thoughts. After all, it was him.
So he waited quietly until the vice captain spoke again.
"And this story is about us?"
"One of about twenty stories in it." He pointed his finger towards the magazine. "It's the second one. And it's not really about us... The main character seems to be a guy called "Ichigo", who is actually kind of a human and something they call a "substitute shinigami"... I didn't really get the point of that, but he seems to be incredibly strong, like he fought you and Zaraki-taichou and Kuchiki-taichou in a row and survived it..." He didn't mention that there seemed to be a strong attraction between the orange haired hero of that manga and his vice captains going-to.be-wife. After all, he wasn't mad. "But we are in there, too. And besides of this Ichigo, the background story seems to be correct."
"Which story?"
"The betrayal of Aizen, Ichimaru and Tousen. All the details about Soul Society and Hueco Mundo, about Shinigami and Arrancar..."
They looked at each other, still stunned from this alarming news.
"Maybe some new plan of this bastard Aizen?"
Rikichi scratched his tattoo, considering this question. "No idea. Maybe... But why? I mean..." He interrupted himself and sighed. "I think we should inform the high command as soon as possible, shouldn't we?"
"I guess we should..." Renji being that calm (although in fact rather paralyzed) was a really rare sight. "That the humans have such a large knowledge about us is really fucking strange. But..." A last time, he stared down at the pages. "Why the hell is it called "Bleach"?!"
