Jack leaned forward in his chair holding his head. First, he lost Nathan and now he was losing Fargo. And once again there was nothing he could do about it. He, Fargo, and Nathan had something going for a while now, then Nathan was gone, and he and Fargo had rely on each other, trying to over come the lost, just for him to lose Fargo now. Life was seriously fucked up.
He ran his hand though his hair, wondering what he was going to do, they had already lost 2 people to these bugs, he didn't want to lose Fargo, what would he have left to lose.
He sighed sitting up, looking over at Fargo; he was laying in bed with his eyes barely opened, just staring. He couldn't even hold him.
--
Jack watch as Fargo was frozen, his body being covered in ice crystals. This could be it; it could save him or kill him.
He held his breath as the bugs still moved. Then they stopped.
"Their gone?" he inquired.
"They should be, let's warm him back up and hope so, "Allison said, nodding to Henry. He started the warming.
His pulse wasn't speeding up, it wasn't doing anything. He watched, they were so close, it couldn't be the end, "Come on Fargo."
He let out the breath he didn't realize he was holding as the pulse went up.
--
Jack smiled hearing Fargo say that about Nathan, yeah he was good. He waited till the others left, as he moved closer to Fargo's bed.
"How ya doing," he asked lacing his hand though the other's.
"I've been better," he said with a slight rasp, his eyes slightly drooping. Jack smiled at the other though a few tears. He held it in all day, but now it was slipping lose. Fargo squeezed Jacks hand a tear slipping out of his own eye, it was so close today, so close.
Jack smiled at the other, leaning his head against Fargo's shoulder, just wanting to be close to the other, to make sure his was still there.
Fargo kissed him lightly, drifting to sleep.
Jack smiled watching over him.
--
Nathan watch his lovers, smiling down on them, as much as he would have loved not to have been alone here anymore, he knew Jack needed the other more. He ran his hand over their entwined fingers, wishing to hold them one more time. He knew he would again… soon…
--
Jack and Fargo smiled in their sleep, as it feeling Nathan watching them.
