A few hours after Leo's return, Raph harbors some resentment against Leo. Since Karai attacked him, the intense pain from his eye constantly reminds him of that terrible night and further increases of his lack of trust in his brother. It's also keeping him awake and he ran out of medicine. He looks to Donnie for more eye medicine and as an ear to vent his frustrations against Leo.

Chapter Two

Raph's Resentment

I'm too much in pain to sleep. My eye still hurts…A LOT. And I blame Leo. That She-Snake would have never shot me in the eye, if he wasn't so stuck on her. Leo has been spacing out since Karai left. I'm not sure if he's up to being leader anymore. He cares more about HER than he does his own brothers. She spit VENOM in my EYE! And HE didn't care less! What kind of leader is he?! Speaking of "fearless" leader, where is he? I haven't seen him since we got back. And I CAN'T see him, because it's hard to SEE..out of ONE EYE! It still burns a bit. Maybe Donnie has something that could help me.

"Donnie, ya got something that could help my eye?"

"What about those saline drops I gave you?"

"I used it all."

"Okay..well..I don't know where some more is. But until I find it, keep flushing your eye out with water."

"It hurts! Don't you have anything else?!"

"Look..I don't. And you need to be patient. If you WANT to lose your eye sight in one eye, keep complaining. If you DON'T, keep washing your eye out."

"Fine, whatever."

Before I turned around, I saw something glowing out of the corner of my eye. It was glowing blue and it was coming from Donnie's Lab.

"What's that?"

"What's what?"

"That blue glow coming from your lab."

"Oh that?! That's the latest batch of anti-mutagen. I'm making a sample for Karai.

"Your making serum for that…that…she-demon?! She spit venom in my eye and you're trying to help her?! "

"Yeah. She's Sensei's daughter. And it would mean a lot to him to get her back."

"You're just as bad as Leo."

"What are you complaining about now, Raph?"

"Leo hasn't been right since he met her and he's gotten worse since she left. Can we really trust him to be our leader?"

"Raph, it's only been a few hours. And you're just mad because she spit in your eye."

"Whatever. Where's "fearless" leader, anyway?"

"Mikey told me that he was on a 10 hour lookout for Karai and went to bed. Now, if you don't mind, I still have some work to do. Please see yourself out."

"Sheesh, Doctor Donnie! I'm gone!"

Whatever. I don't care what Donnie says. I still think Leo's head is out of the game and I don't trust him. Someone should keep an eye on him.
