How I have seen myself in the past.

"I Am" Poem

I am star dust and light

I wonder what space feels like, taste like, and smells like...

I hear the stars singing in the night air.

I see them waltz along to their melody;

I want to dance among them.

I am star dust and light

I pretend to fly with my feet still planted, wide and firm.

I feel the warmth of the Universe inside and around my heart and soul.

I touch the first step of my stairway to heaven with my toes,

I worry that I won't be able to land;

I cry because I don't wish two.

I am star dust and light

I understand that I am a human on Earth and shall never leave.

I say the stars are alive, and

I dream that they are mine to hold tight.

I'll learn to fly to them on my own.

I hope I find something...someone to make me land.

I am star dust and light.

Message: I sometimes have seen my goals as if they were the stars and that they were too far away to achieve but lately I have been seeing it in a positive light and I want to tell how I see my goals and my fears if I do reach them.
