Favorite Movies

Disclaimer: I don't own Thor, or the Marvel properties as a whole. Author's Note: Well, after reading the Avengers Headcanon Tumblr (I know, behind the times, but I just started Tumblr a few days ago, give me a break) and then this idea came to me. It'll probably be shorter than my normal fics, but I think it gets the point across well. Also, don't think too hard about the timeline. It's always weird when it comes to silly stories like this.
Despite all outward appearances Jane Foster loved movies. Whether it be a romantic comedy, or a straight up action film, she could get into it. But if someone were to ask her which one was her favorite, then she'd actually have to think about it.
Ever since he had been on Midgard, Thor found the concept of film fascinating. He watched many movies, mostly with Jane, although sometimes he would find himself alone with nothing to do and he'd put on a movie to pass the time. His favorite one, well, that was a rather easy choice, although, it's probably not one that you would expect.
So, one day, while watching a rather forgettable horror film, Thor asked Jane a question.
"What is your favorite movie?"
"Oh, um. Well, you see it's complicated." Jane flustered out.
"How so?"
"Um, it just is, okay?" Jane said.
"Ah." Thor replied.
"Well, then, Mr. Movie Man, what's your favorite?" Jane asked.
"That animated Frozen movie."
"Really?" Jane wondered.
"Yes." Thor told her.
"Why?"
"Because, it gives me hope."
"Hope for what?"
"Hope that maybe one day Loki will change his ways, make us have as close a familial relationship as the sisters do by the end of that film." Thor explained.
"So, you're Anna, and Loki's Elsa." Jane said.
"Yes."
"Who am I?"
"You would be Kristoff. Darcy is Sven. And Erik is Olaf."
"I'd keep that information from Darcy, just saying." Jane told him.
"Well, what about you?" Thor asked.
"I don't know. Right now, the only movie I can think of is Die Hard With A Vengeance, but that's probably because the current film is trying so hard to rip it off." Jane said.
"Ah yes, that's the one with the Nick Fury lookalike, isn't it?"
"You keep saying that, and I've never actually seen Director Fury." Jane told him.
"You haven't? I'll have to take you to see him one of these days." Thor noted.
"Anyways, my favorite movie. Well, I am a fan of Star Wars. Although Revenge of the Sith is a little off-putting." Jane said. "Probably if I had to make a decision, I really love A New Hope. That one would probably be my favorite. Although after this movie I could go into my lab and find out exactly which film I like the most." Jane half-joked.
"Well, I guess that we have an answer for now, and that's all we really need." Thor said, grabbing a handful of popcorn and stuffing his mouth.
So, that was a quick little story that I just had in mind. I mean, really, just look at the comparisons. Although I'm probably late for that too, and am going to be the last on this bandwagon. Anyways, please review the story and tell me what you thought about it. I hoped that you liked it.
