Gomen ne. You guys tried to stop me, but I didn't care and I left, willfully, knowing that our village would be in danger. I wanted power to kill my brother, and Orochimaru gave me what I wanted, and I accepted for my own selfish desire. I realize my mistake too late, and I will pay dearly for it in the morning.
I'll never forget the times our teamed has worked together during missions and training. I've never really opened up myself to anyone, and you guys are the closest friends I've ever had. Honestly, I really did have fun with you guys. And those are the memories I shall revisit one last time this night.
Kakashi-sensei, you porno-reading teacher, put down that book! You're still a great teacher even though you're always incredibly late and read those books. You've taught me so many things, and yet I've never said a thank you. I appreciate what you've done and I'm sorry that it's all is going to waste.
Sakura, I know that you've been madly in love with me since forever but I'm sorry to say, I can't ever return those feelings, but you're still a close friend of mine. You don't really do much, but you're pretty smart and you always try your best. Train more, and you will become a great shinobi.
Naruto, you're an idiot, but you're my best friend. You will become Hokage one day, keep believing it. I'm passing my dream on to you. Please avenge my clan for me, but don't try avenging it the way I did. I really wanted to have a rematch with you. I admit, you've gotten much stronger since we first met. Keep up the good work and complete your dream. Don't die.
I know, isn't it strange for me to be writing this letter? But I just wanted to give you guys my last words. Thanks for everything and I'm sorry.
