Hunted
When two moons cross
The prison unlocked
The eagle of the night
Unleashed from darkness
To kill creatures of the light
Only the faithful
Will withstand the slaughter
That the night bringer calls
From the devilish void
When the stars are in line
His plan divine
The forbidden door unlocked
The demons from the blackness come
From the void they crawl
To poison the minds of innocents
To stain the soil with blood
The king of darkness hunts
Only one pray he seeks
The protectors of the land
That dare to resist the black
By his fist they will fall
Till only 2 remain
Then the Bringer of The Night
The guardians in his claws
Flies away unto the stars
To end the age of light.
Apocalypse
Everything has its time. All things will eventually crumble to dust. It is only of a matter when. Even the stars will burn out, leaving nothing but a memory in they're wake. Such is the fate of the universe. Such was the fate of our world. Our fate was pre-mature... The shadow came to soon. Our suns were not meant to die so soon.. our heroes were never meant to be killed so suddenly. The blackness infected the heart before we could even comprehend what was happening. We had ignored the warnings of the rejected, we scoffed at the ancient prophecies put down by their ancestors. We believed that our powers could protect us. We thought our guardians could save us.
And now, as I gaze at the black ball of fire that I used to call home, I could laugh at how wrong we were.
The very first sign that something was wrong came with the end of the never ceasing warnings of the rejected, otherwise known as the Knaaren. These detestable creatures were not created by the Lord Polokus, but instead by the Night-bringer, Leptys. We had cast them from society long ago, their barbaric always kept our people in a state of terror. When their grotesque rituals became to much, we banished the creatures to the desert, were they could harm no one. This was our first mistake.
They told us time and time again that the end was coming, that our skies would be enveloped by a shadow. We responded to their messages with scorn and ridicule, laughing at their predictions. We scoffed at their prophets and their council, we thought we could withstand anything. We believed that our protectors could save us as they did before. And even when the sky darkened and the suns disappeared, we still believed that our Guardian could save us. We thought he could defend us from the evil that had so many times raided our world.
Oh how we were wrong.
We should have listened
We should have taken their warnings to mind
They told us a blackness was rising
They told us that it would unlock the void
They told us about the demons that would crawl out
They told us that the apocalypse had come at last
And this time, no Guardian could prevent it.
