Hey there! I know, I have other stories going on, and I have yet to update them, but this was an idea that would not leave my head. It isn't very long, but hopefully, that wouldn't affect the quality of the story.

Poke-battles nowadays are very entertaining. Pokémon don't go all out but try to win in the most crowd pleasing way. No longer can they be calls battles. The Pokémon aren't fighting for supreme dominance. They fight because their master tells them to. And recognizing a fellow captive, they keep the fight as harmless as possible. They are nothing more than non-lethal exhibition fights.

The Pokemon of the wild have real battles. No dramatic takedowns. They fight at a purely instinctual level, using everything in their arsenal to win. Flamethrowers are not meant to hurt the opponent. They are meant to burn them to a crisp. Poison is not meant for weakening the opponent, it is meant for killing them slowly. They have no rules for fair play. It is kill or be killed. Survival of the fittest is rule number one.

His Pokémon were fearsome.

His Meganium, with a Sweet Scent so strong and sweet, it kills all the will to fight. And although he isn't the most powerful of fighters, he always wins. After all, how can you lose against a Pokémon that never fights back?

His Usaring, the Pokémon nearly always overpowers his opponents. With speed to rival a Rapidash, and the strength to match a Tyrantitar, all fall before him, after suffering from numerous bleeding cuts and slashes from his claws and teeth.

His Weevile, the crafty little bugger will fool with your senses. She will dodge whatever you throw at it, and continuously make you slip by freezing the very ground on which you stand. And when she is no longer interested in playing with you and you are on the last dregs of your energy, she will freeze you, taking sadistic pleasure as you feel the ice slowly, painfully, agonizingly, burn you.

His Nidorino, his touch can kill. You can try to attack it from a distance, but one way or another he will make contact with you. And he will watch as your strength fades away as the poison flows from his horns into your veins.

His Noctowl, her piercing glance is enough to intimidate even the most battle hardened of Pokémon. And with her psychic powers binding you, she will fiercely attack, her beak and talons ripping through your flesh until you pass out from the pain.

Not many people paid attention to the Psyduck. They dismissed him as nothing more than a mascot the trainer kept around because she thought he was cute. But you cannot help but be unnerved by those blank, hollow, emotionless eyes following your every move. And wonder at the back of your mind, is he really useless? Or is he the most dangerous?

Their trainer isn't a great one. Like all other trainers her age, she wants to win using flashy moves and dramatic takedowns. But before being captured, these Pokémon were wild. And the rule of wild is winning at any cost. Flashy takedowns don't sit very well with his Pokémon. She was never able to understand how dangerous Pokémon were.

So when the Psyduck broke her mind, took control of her body and functionally became their trainer, none of the Pokémon really complained.

After all, he wasn't a human trainer. Their rules didn't apply to him.

Because, deep in their being, no matter if they were caught and tamed, they were wild. They were lethal. They were deadly.

They were Pokémon.

Yeah, so that's it. I tried to choose Pokémon that were not in the OU category (check Pokémon Showdown online) to show that even the weaker Pokémon were pretty darn dangerous. I know the team is horribly imbalanced but...meh.

Tell me what you thought about it.

Hope you enjoyed!
