"Eclair." Lucy murmured.
She was still mourning over the death of her friend, Eclair, a priestess who let herself die in order to save the rest of the Guild. As of now, Lucy had just came back from her memorial with the rest of the Fairy Tail guild and was crying in her room. Suddenly, she heard a knock on the door.
"Lucy? Are you okay?" the voice asked softly. Lucy rose up from her pillow and realized that it was Natsu, her best friend.
"Y-you can come in if you want." Lucy replied while sniffiling. Natsu opened the door and saw Lucy. She was a mess. Her loose hair was shriveled and there were tears streams down her face like she was crying for hours. She was still in her black strapped dress from the memorial and it had became wrinkled. Natsu then ran towards Lucy and hugged her tightly, to which she hugged him back without hesitation.
"Natsu. I miss her!" Lucy said while talking into Natsu's chest.
"Shh. I know." Natsu replied, trying to calm his best friend and crush down. Lucy finally lifted her head from Natsu's chest and looked at him.
"Y-you don't know how much she meant to me, Natsu."
"I know. She was a great person. I just can't believe she's gone."
"Me neither. If I ever lost you, I don't think I could take it. I mean, you mean so much to me, Natsu."
Natsu was shocked, but his shock was hidden behind his gentle smile.
"Thanks, Lucy. I care about you, too. I'l always be by your side." he replied. Lucy smiled at him a little bit as more tears formed in her eyes, as she was shocked that Natsu felt the same way and was still missing Eclair.
"Don't worry, Lucy. You'll get through this. We're all in this together."
After a few moments, more tears released from Lucy's eyes and Natsu pulled her back into a reassuring hug. While being hugged, Lucy smiled, thinking about Eclair.
