"Ms. Woods," Callahan said, "May I have a word with you?"
"Sure," Elle said, "How about goodbye"
Viviane who was watching from a distance smirked.
"Ms. Woods," Callahan said, "I know you know about my issues. It's not something I'm proud of but I made mistakes when I was younger and I honestly… it snowballed out of control."
Elle was surprised. She always thought of Callahan as a POMPOSS ASS but it would appear that he was apologizing to her.
"Princess would agree with you," Elle said
"Please don't bring that one up," Callahan requested, "I'm embarrassed enough about it as it is"
"Why would you act that way," Elle asked
Callahan paused.
"I was young. I was used to getting what I wanted when I wanted it. I honestly was foolish at the time. I didn't think there would be any consequences for my actions
"I didn't know what to do when it snowballed out of control. I made myself into someone I thought I wanted to be. I never realized how out of control it was. I don't know how to get it back in control"
"Well you can start by acknowledging the fact that you were wrong,"
Callahan looked at her incredulously.
"I just did!"
"You admitted it to me. You need to admit it to Princess and you need to right your wrong"
"That's embarrassing Ms. Woods," Callahan said
"Why is it embarrassing," Elle asked, "You had no problem saying it to me"
"No but to say it to the person that I offended… it's different"
"I know," Elle said, "It shows maturity… something you don't have"
"I'm mature," Callahan argued
"Only if there is a new definition of the word mature"
Princess was flipping through a new magazine when the phone rang.
"Yello," she said picking it up.
"It's me," Callahan said, "I'm calling because… well this is very hard to say but… I'm sorry"
"Thank you," Princess said, "I appreciate that and apology accepted"
"I was wondering if we might be friends," Callahan asked
Princess paused for a moment.
"I'd like that," she said
